Mini Overlapping Geese

Overlapping Geese is a multifaceted modern traditionalist design, a new interpretation of the flying geese block that is also a variation of traditional chevron and herringbone designs, where the ends of what would have been parallelograms or rectangles respectively have been cut at different angles for a much different effect.

This mini quilt was created for a miniquilt challenge, and was an opportunity to explore a new scale and colorway using the Overlapping Geese design.
